The year's second quarter and the first half(!) are done (where has that time gone?!).
Despite all the doom and gloom in the news around the property market, the economy and rising interest rates, the property recruitment sector is booming – 81% of all our live roles were in the property sector in Q2.
On top of the rise in jobs and candidates securing new roles, we have seen an increase in salaries. On average, candidates got a 5% increase when moving to a new role.

The top Property job title was Property Manager (11% of all property jobs), followed by; Sales Negotiator (7%), Lettings Negotiator (7%), Branch Manager (5%), and Senior Sales Negotiator (3%)
The top location for property candidates was the North West of England (35% of all property jobs), followed by; Yorkshire (23%), the North East (20%), the Midlands (19%), the South East (2%), and the South West (1%)
The average salary for property candidates ranges from £20,000 per year up to £50,000 per year on average depending on seniority, location and job role. The average on-target earnings (OTE) increase ranges from £3,600 up to £70,000.
On average, property candidates could increase their salary by 5% when moving roles through us.

The conveyancing sector was quieter than the property sector throughout Q2, however, as we enter into the second half of the year we are starting to see this pick up following a successful Q1 & Q2 for the property sector.
The top Conveyancing job title was Residential Conveyancer (40% of all legal and conveyancing jobs), followed by; Conveyancing Paralegal (13%), Conveyancing Fee Earner (13%), Conveyancing Assistant (7%), and Junior Paralegal (3%).
The top location for conveyancing candidates was the South East of England (37% of all conveyancing placements), followed by; Wales (20%), the North West (17%), the North East (13%), and Yorkshire (7%).
The average salary for conveyancing candidates ranges from £19,000 per year up to £70,000 per year on average depending on seniority, location and job role. On average, conveyancing candidates could increase their salary by 1% when moving roles through us.
