At the beginning of the year, we announced that our Charity of the Year for 2023 is Martin House Children’s Hospice in Wetherby. Since January we have already kickstarted our fundraising for the year.
What are we doing for Charity?
Throughout the month of February, we did a collection for the local charity shop in Knaresborough. We asked the Ambitious Group team to bring any pre-loved items into the office that could be donated to the shop. We have been blown away by the generosity of the team and how much they have donated, take a look at the picture below to see the massive amount we have collected!
In March we are hosting a bake off and bake sale to raise some extra money. The Ambitious team will be battling it out for ‘Star Baker’ with Robin Tossell and Matthew Iles being our tough judges, and when the judging is done we will be selling the remaining bakes to our business park in Knaresborough. We’re hoping to raise a good amount during the sale.
This July, Rich Hare is taking on an incredible challenge to help a fantastic cause; Total Warrior in Leeds!
"Total Warrior is a 12K obstacle course which will push me to my limits, and requires a lot of strength, stamina, and determination. I'm excited to take on this challenge and can't wait to achieve something incredible for such a worthy cause." – Rich Hare
Rich has set himself a target of raising £500!

In September, Andy Skelton is taking on The Great North – the largest half marathon in the world! Andy has set himself a target of raising a minimum of £500!
As well as this, Sarah Wilkinson is volunteering on the day to support the Martin House runners and to be Andy’s moral support.
