Structural Defect Engineer – West Midlands / Home Based

New role to be part of an enthusiastic and supportive multi-disciplined team of RICS Surveyors and Structural Engineers. This role would suit somebody from either a Civil or Structural Engineering background, Building Surveyor, or Loss Adjusters. You would be joining a nationwide team of dedicated professionals, all supported by a committed group of administrative staff.

Duties

• Conducting subsidence investigations, checking integrity of building works, assessing non-standard constructions
• Preparing and presenting technically robust reports
• Liaising with clients, both verbally and through written correspondence

You

• Member of the RICS
• Thorough understanding of building defects, maintenance, and repairs
• Full UK driving license
