JOB DESCRIPTION

Social Housing Development Manager – Walkden

Duties

  • Responding to all enquiries via Gumtree, Spare room, Easy room, Rightmove, Zoopla, On the Market and carrying out viewings
  • Achieving 100% occupancy and £138.08/room rate per each house share
  • Property Inspections and Preventative Maintenance: Inspections and Reports
  • Responsible for responding to emergency call outs and being on call
  • Obtaining References, Tenants Deposits and Rent bonds
  • Accessing and monitoring the on-line maintenance ticket system
  • Chasing rent arears, Section 8 & 21 and court evictions
  • Carrying out various flier campaigns, open days to get new social housing landlords
  • Making enquiries & carrying out valuations & bringing in stock commercial / Residential / Multi Let / HMO properties for investors
  • Following up all deals sourced through to exchange and completion
  • Deliver informative due diligence reports and recommendations for acquisition
  • Liaise and network with third party introducers

 

You

  • Must have a full clean UK driving license
  • Previous experience of sourcing, valuations and sales
  • ARLA/NAEA/Degree qualified or equivalent
  • Have worked in Salford, Walkden & Bolton arears and understand the property market
  • Excellent understanding of property comparables & the mathematics of property investment (yields, interest cover, LTV etc).

 

Due to rapid expansion a superb opportunity is now available for an experienced Social Housing Development Manager to join a property investment and a management company specialising in Housing in Multiple Occupancy (HMOs) based in the North West.
