JOB DESCRIPTION

Service Charge Account Coordinator – Manchester

Benefits

Duties

  • Transaction processing for multiple Service Charge Management Companies accounts, to be able to maintain sales ledgers, purchase ledgers, and cash books for a number of small accounts
  • Accounts administration and VAT returns through the use of the company systems at any given time (Training will be given if and when required)
  • To be able to maintain sales ledgers, purchase ledgers, and cash books for a number of small accounts
  • Management and processing of supplier and contractor payments both to intercompany accounts and external providers
  • To be able to coordinate and manage the debt collection processes
  • Preparation of accruals and prepayments associated with both company accounts and Service Charge Accounts
  • Balance Sheet Reconciliations
  • Assisting with Year End processes and audit preparation including coordination with the appointed accountants
  • Assist with improvement of internal controls
  • Logging of all calls received and actions required in support of customers, contractors and specialist suppliers on the company systems appropriate at any given time
  • Preparation of correspondence including letters, contracts, invoices and orders along with the preparation customer reports

 

You

  • Experience of working in a finance department or accountants
  • Experience and understanding of statutory provisions relating to Service Charges and Ground Rent
  • Fully Conversant with SAGE 50 Accounts Package
  • Previous experience of producing Monthly Management Accounts
  • Previous experience of working with Service Charge Accounts beneficial

 

This fantastic opportunity requires you to be responsible for coordinating the accounting activities of multiple Service Charged Accounts working with several key members of the team and third party accountants.
