JOB DESCRIPTION

Are you a superstar Property Manager looking for your next big opportunity? Want to join a well-established company, offering a great basic salary? Are you based in or around Newcastle Upon Tyne or Durham? This Property Manager role could be the perfect opportunity for you!

 

Our client, a reputable regional Estate and Lettings Agency, are looking for an enthusiastic individual to join them as a Property Manager, to join their successful team working across Newcastle and Durham regions to help manage the expanding portfolio. This is initially a 6 month fixed term contract.

 

The Role

 

·       To deliver the best service to our landlord clients, tenants, contractors and internal contacts

·       Ensure continuity of business and an excellent reputation in the market by going the extra mile

·       Pro-actively manage problematic situations to the satisfaction of all parties

·       Ensure compliance with strict lettings legislation and company policies at all times

·       Deal with all aspects of property management, from compiling inventories, to dealing with day to day repairs, insurance claims, receiving and remitting rents, processing and payment of invoices, arrears, check outs, and deposit disputes

·       Take part in business activities to promote the business in the wider community

·       Maintain excellent relationships with reliable contractors

 

The Person

 

·       Have previous Property Management Experience

·       Possess superb organisational and communication skills

·       Have the ability to prioritise a busy and demanding workload and to stay calm under pressure

·       Have excellent customer service skills

·       Have a full driving licence and own car for work

·       Be an enthusiastic and energetic individual, with the will to overcome difficulties

·       Maintain high standards of professionalism with clients, colleagues and contractors

 

The Reward

 

·       £18,000 - £20,000 DOE

·       Membership of the Firm’s Pension Plan, with Employer’s contribution of up to 3%

·       Payment of relevant professional subscriptions

·       26 days annual leave per year, plus bank holidays

·       Inclusion in the Firm’s Life Assurance Policy given as 3 times annual salary
