JOB DESCRIPTION

Property Manager - Newcastle

Immediate start available!

 

The Reward

  • £25,000pa
  • Company Car
  • 24 days annual leave plus bank holidays
  • 9am to 5.30pm, Monday to Friday, no weekends

 

The Person

  • You must be able to work both autonomously and, in a team
  • You must have experience of working in Property Management or hold a property relevant degree
  • You must have excellent communication skills
  • You must be pro-active and a proven problem solver and offer a high level of flexibility due to the nature of the position
  • Knowledge of CFP would be advantageous
  • Full driving licence is required

 

The Role

  • Carrying out check-ins and check-outs to the company standard
  • Carrying out periodic inspections
  • Use video technology to document condition of properties at check-outs and inspections where improvements are required
  • Using an audible narrative when videoing refurbishment recommendations
  • Log all works required following check-outs for the Property Management Co-ordinators to action
  • Deposit correspondence between all parties and the releasing of deposit
  • Compile and submit deposit disputes
  • Compose Landlord inspection letters following visits
  • Complete APHC’s
  • Follow up APHC’s with a personal call to the Landlord
  • Seek to improve the quality of all properties
  • Visit new managements to check for works required, compile the inventory, cut keys
  • Prepare and serve S21’s and all legal notices, and log as required
  • Carry out emergency property visits when required and when requested
  • Oversee all refurbishments – (i.e. visit and check snagging etc)
  • Close communication with Landlord’s as and when required
  • Office cover when required
  • Out of hours on call, 1 week in every 5

Working as a Property Manager for this leading Residential Lettings and Sales Agents, you will be a driven individual, expected to increase the standards of the property portfolio. This role will require a large part of your working week carrying out appointments. As you will not be office based, you will be required to work from home with regular visits to the office to liaise with other members of the teams and the Head of Department.
