// Maintenance Surveyor //

Our client, a well-established property management company based in Leeds, is looking for a Maintenance Surveyor to work as part of their Property Management team covering the Yorkshire region.

The Job

·       Carry out site inspections on a scheduled basis using bespoke inspection app

·       Dealing with day-to-day maintenance issues received via, telephone calls, emails and letters

·       Ensuring contracts are in place for all services at all properties

·       Replying to leaseholders’ queries within predefined timescales

·       To monitor and manage repairs

·       Undertaking Fire Risk reviews on a scheduled basis

·       Ensuring periodic inspections relating to Health & Safety are undertaken to ensure the company complies with CDM regulations

·       Attending Shareholder / Directors meetings as and when required

·       Agreeing service charges budgets with accounts department and attending budget meetings when required

·       Ensuring property expenditure is in line with budgeted amounts by periodically checking expenditure

·       Saving all correspondence in accordance with company practices

·       Maintaining property database for "Out of Hours" 24/7 service

·       At all times promoting the good name of the company to assist in the acquisition / referral of new business

The Person

·       You will already be an experienced Maintenance Surveyor or Property Manager

·       Be prepared to gain industry specific qualifications with the support of the employer (IRPM)

·       You will have a good knowledge of the region and will be able to hit the ground running

·       Must possess good business acumen

Have past experience and a good understanding of leaseholds
You must be able to demonstrate a high level of organisation
Be extremely proactive, driven and have the determination to succeed
Full UK driving license and access to your own vehicle
The Reward

£23,000 - £25,000 DOE
Generous Car Allowance
Paid business mileage 20p/mile
Pension and other benefits (after a 6 month probation period)
8.30am – 5pm or 9am – 5.30pm Mon – Fri
