JOB DESCRIPTION

Are you an experienced Property Manager looking to take a step up? Are you based in or around Leeds? With an excellent basic salary and bonus on top, this Head of Property Management role could be the perfect opportunity for you!

 

Due to rapid growth and expansion, our client has an excellent opportunity for a Head of Property Management to join the ever growing team. As the Head of Property Management, you will be managing a team of three staff members who oversee a portfolio of 300 properties. You will be responsible for heading up the Property Management department, implementing new processes and ensuring the Property Managers arrange maintenance, agree renewals and chase arrears within a timely manner. Your team will oversee the process once a tenant has applied for a property, through to move-in, and the on-going management of the tenancy post-move in.

 

 

The Role

 

·       Managing a small team; two Property Managers and one Tenancy Co-ordinator

·       Overseeing the management of 300 properties across Leeds, Manchester and Liverpool

·       Working with some of the largest landlords in the UK and dealing with clients from all over the globe

·       Running reports to ensure your team have arranged maintenance in a timely manner, are on-top of renewals and arrears and that tenants are on-track to move-in on their proposed tenancy start date

·       Upon completion of  new-build developments, you will be responsible for liaising with developers to ensure snagging inspections are complete

·       Serving notices to tenants and issuing relevant legal documentation

·       Working to KPIs

·       Ensuring rental arrears are kept to a minimum

·       Checking, certifying and uploading invoices

·       Generating landlord statements

·       Providing reports to the board of Directors

 

The Person

 

A minimum of 2 years working in Property Management
You will need to be self-confident, structured, organised, approachable yet authoritative.]
Experience of and a desire to maintain a high standard of customer care when dealing with landlords and tenants
Being able to implement a clear structure, create new processes and manage people is critical

Being adept at running reports and overseeing the smooth running of the department will be a vital part of this role

Work towards targets and KPIs
Ability to work with little direction, maintaining confidentiality and professionalism
Management experience
Strong IT skills and experience in word, excel, internet and general administration essential
Need to be able to use your own initiative and make the role your own
The Reward

 

£24,000 basic salary DOE
Bonus Structure £3,000 per annum
Monday to Thursday 9am to 6pm, Friday 9am to 5pm, 1 in 2 Saturdays 10am – 4pm (no Saturday work once team has been developed and grown!
