JOB DESCRIPTION

Our clients are an international firm specialising in the sale of Businesses and Commercial Property. With an enviable presence in the market, they are an exciting and progressive firm who invest in their people, offering competitive packages and long-term career growth.

To be based in the Newcastle upon Tyne area and with travel across the North, we now seek a Commercial Negotiator / Business Agent to join the team specialising in the sale of Licensed businesses.

•To sell and acquire businesses on behalf of both private and corporate clients in the Licensed sector
•Conducting accurate market appraisals, ultimately leading to instructing these businesses to the market for sale
•Arrange and conduct viewings with potential purchasers
•Extensive use of the bespoke in-house CRM system, ensuring that all opportunities are maximised
•Full lifecycle of the sales process, from instruction through to sale and eventual completion
•Liaising between vendors and purchasers, ensuring a high level of client care throughout
•Networking and maintaining new and old industry contacts
•Keeping a close eye on the local market, noticing any changes and recognising opportunities

•With experience of the licensed sector, we seek a Graduate with some Commercial Property experience, or a proven Estate Agent who has worked at Valuer level or above
•Be academic, organised and methodical in your approach to work
•Have a good head for numbers and able to think on your feet
•Be energetic, enthusiastic and tenacious, with a clear passion for sales
•Have strong negotiation and networking skills
•Be ambitious and committed, with the drive and determination to develop your skills and knowledge
•Be a strong character, always striving for excellence, representing yourself and the company in the best light at all times
•Be commercially aware and understand the current marketplace
•A property related degree would be advantageous, but is not essential
