JOB DESCRIPTION

Assistant Quantity Surveyor – Liverpool

The job will mainly focus on contractor side quantity surveying over a range of sectors including private residential, residential, commercial, and industrial.

We are looking for candidates who would like to achieve their Chartership status.

 

Duties

  • Prepare contractor cost estimates and cost plans
  • Prepare contractor tender submissions
  • Prepare Bills of Quantities in accordance with SMM7/NRM2
  • Prepare Schedules of Work
  • Review procurement route advice
  • Collate and assist with the tendering process
  • Prepare Tender Analysis and Recommendations
  • Prepare Contract Documentation
  • Prepare payment applications
  • Final Account Negotiation and Settlement
  • Assist with Employer’s Agent and Contract Administrator Roles

 

You

  • Holds a University Degree 2:1 or higher in a relevant field
  • Registered for the APC
  • Minimum of 3 years relevant experience
  • Full UK Driving license and access to own vehicle
  • A good working knowledge of MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint and the ability to learn how to use specialist software
  • Experience of Bluebeam and costX is desirable
